Biography
Carla J. Curtis is the author of “A Single Woman’s Parenting Journey: Survival Tidbits,” “Grip the Rope: Prayers for Single Mothers” and “A Date with Jesus: A Woman’s Guide to a Closer Relationship with the Lord.” Women from all walks of life can be blessed by reading Curtis’ inspirational books that have become wonderful bedside keepers for some of her loyal readership. Also, Curtis’ story, The Power of a Mother’s Love, is featured in the anthology, “Gumbo for the Soul: Women of Honor,” an assemblage of savory literary offerings honoring women and supporting the fight against breast cancer.
In addition to being an accomplished writer, Curtis works full-time as a Client Service Manager for a direct banking and payment services company. As for her educational accomplishments, Curtis holds a B.S. in Management and a M.S. in Managerial Leadership. She is the mother of one daughter, and grandmother of two granddaughters and one grandson. She currently lives in a northwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois.
